Audience: This session is targeted for professionals who are new to CELF Preschool-3 or who need comprehensive training on administration and scoring of the subtests on the CELF Preschool–3.

Course description: This 6-hour session provides an in-depth understanding of subtest administration and scoring and a basic understanding of profile interpretation.

Learning objectives: After attending this session, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the conceptual structure of the CELF Preschool–3
  • Explain general guidelines for subtest administration and scoring
  • Discuss administration and scoring of five of the CELF Preschool–3 subtests
  • Calculate raw scores and derive scaled scores and standard scores
  • Describe the CELF Preschool–3 interpretive process to identify strengths and weaknesses in language
  • List treatments and interventions indicated by assessment results
