This 6-hour session is designed for individuals who require in-depth training on subtest administration and scoring and a basic understanding of profile interpretation. Price includes up to 40 people per session.

Audience: This session is targeted for individuals who are new to the KABC-II and those who would like comprehensive training on subtest administration and scoring and basic interpretation of results from the KABC-II NU.

Course description: This 6-hour session is designed for individuals who require in-depth training on subtest administration and scoring and a basic understanding of profile interpretation.

Learning objectives: After attending this session, participants will be able to:

  • Describe factors that inform the selection of the Luria model or the CHC model
  • Explain general guidelines for subtest administration and scoring
  • Discuss administration and scoring of five of the KABC–II NU subtests
  • Calculate raw scores and derive scaled scores and standard scores
  • Describe the step-by-step interpretive approach for KABC–II NU profiles
  • Use test results to describe patterns of cognitive strengths and weaknesses
