Mastering the D-KEFS Advanced, Part 1: Applying a Tiered Framework for Interpretive Accuracy Webinar (Register Now)
Presenter(s): Julie Gettman, PhD, NCSP, ABSNP and Chris Bedford, PhD, LP, ABSNP
Strengthen your interpretation of executive function data. This webinar introduces a step-by-step framework for identifying what D-KEFS and D-KEFS Advanced scores may reveal and applying those insights to eligibility, diagnostic, and intervention decisions
Executive function tasks rarely measure executive function alone. Most tap several cognitive processes at once, a challenge known as the impurity problem. This webinar equips psychologists with a tiered, stepwise framework for interpreting D-KEFS and D-KEFS Advanced results with greater accuracy. Participants will learn to distinguish scores that reflect primary executive dysfunction from those better explained by other underlying skills and will walk through case examples illustrating how this distinction changes eligibility, diagnostic, and intervention decisions. The session also addresses how executive function data integrates into broader strengths-and-weaknesses assessment models.
