We're making your login experience easier
QUICK LINKS
For users logging in with username and password:
- Your email address is your username
Moving forward, your email address will serve as your username for logging into both Q-global and Q-interactive. If you order assessment materials from our website, it will require the same login. - You will need to choose a new password
Upon your initial login, you’ll be prompted to create a new password. - Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
For added security, you’ll need to set up MFA. This ensures your account is fully protected.
For users authenticating via Single Sign-On (SSO):
If you currently authenticate using SSO, these steps will not apply to you. We will contact you separately with specific instructions about your migration process.
Passkeys are now available — giving you a secure, password-free way to sign in using your device’s built-in security, such as Face ID, Touch ID, or a secure PIN.
Passkeys offer clear advantages:
- Up to 82% faster sign-in
- 93% higher success rates
- 4× more reliable than passwords
- 95% fewer password resets
- 0% vulnerability to phishing or credential-stuffing attacks
Passkeys also remove the need for MFA entirely, making them the simplest and most secure way to access your account.
To get started, just select ‘Create a Passkey’ when you’re prompted to do so. If you’ve recently skipped it, don’t worry — you’ll see the prompt again after 14 days.
Avoid extra sign-ins by updating your bookmark
Some users have reported that they’re being asked to sign in multiple times. In most cases, this happens when accessing Q-global through an old bookmark or saved link.
If you open the previous login page, you’ll be redirected to the new Pearson Identity sign-in page — which can feel like a second login step.
To avoid this and sign in smoothly each time, please update any saved bookmarks to the new login page:

A quick reminder about individual accounts
Each Q-global user must sign in with their own Pearson Identity user credentials. This ensures:
- Proper protection of sensitive assessment data
- Accurate tracking and auditability
- Reliable system performance
- Compliance with data privacy and IT security policies
Shared credentials can cause access issues and interfere with enhanced security features. If multiple staff members need access, please make sure each has their own user credentials.
