This webinar will introduce you to the main changes to WAIS-5, focusing on those relevant to the test’s clinical utility, psychometrics, and structure. Topics covered will include revision objectives, subtest modifications, new composite scores, administration changes, scoring options, normative sample characteristics, psychometric properties, and special group studies.
This WAIS-5 overview will focus on key revisions to the new version of the test. We will look at revision goals, followed by subtests and composite scores new to the WAIS-5, as well as administration and scoring options, including both the digital and paper format. Additionally, we will review administration time and take a look at the normative sample, including sample size and demographic breakdown. Finally, we will review the psychometric properties of the WAIS-5 (emphasizing reliability and validity) and highlight the diverse populations in the group studies, which ensured the test's applicability across numerous clinical groups.
