The WAIS-5 has many subtests that will be familiar to users of the WAIS–IV, and five subtests which may be unfamiliar: Symbol Span and Spatial Addition (revised from the Wechsler Memory Scale® (4th ed.; WMS®–IV); Naming Speed Quantity (revised from the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children® (5th ed.; WISC®–V); and the new subtests Running Digits and Set Relations.
We will emphasize the differences between administration and scoring on the paper and digital versions of the test and provide general tips to ensure that users have confidence in their ability to smoothly and efficiently utilize the new subtests.
