This webinar will provide a general overview of what cognitive rehabilitation is, who the participants are, where it takes place, and who the providers are. In addition, we will discuss some of the types of cognitive strategies, including computer training, utilized in cognitive rehabilitation.  

Cognitive rehabilitation, often a major focus of medical rehabilitation, involves the methods, therapies, and interventions undertaken to improve or restore deficits in cognitive functioning after illness or injury. It includes a range of therapies focused on enhancing quality of life by improving attention, memory, executive functioning, visual spatial processing, and visual field.
