This webinar will provide an evidence-based framework for assessing and teaching basic relational concepts essential for learning and emotional regulation — key components of school readiness. Basic relational concepts such as top, bottom, left, right appear in PreK and Grades K–2 print materials, reading and math curricula, and teacher's verbal instructions. The presenter will discuss the importance of acquiring basic relational concepts as an important indicator of children's school readiness and discuss intervention techniques that parents and teachers can use to improve children’s skills.
