In this 3-hour session, participants will learn why and how to complete the BASC-3 BESS as well as how to administer the BASC-3 BESS to students. Participants will learn how to put data to use by analyzing risk and determining a plan for action within a school system. Hands-on practice with administration and report generation will be available throughout the session if local devices are available. Price includes up to 30 people per session.

Audience: This session is targeted for experienced aimswebPlus users who are new to the BASC3 BESS.

Course description: In this 3-hour session, participants will learn why and how to complete the BASC-3 BESS as well as how to administer the BASC-3 BESS to students. Participants will learn how to put data to use by analyzing risk and determining a plan for action within a school system. Hands-on practice with administration and report generation will be available throughout the session if local devices are available.

Learning objectives: After attending this session, participants will be able to:

  • Explain the concepts and processes of behavioral and emotional screening.
  • Complete simulated data collection within a training account.
  • Differentiate between the various reporting options that are available for schools/classes/groups and individual students.
  • Navigate to BASC-3 BESS data.
  • Analyze data within the reports that are relevant for the need.
  • Formulate key questions and decisions to consider when analyzing BASC-3 BESS data.
