James A. Holdnack, PhD
Dr. Holdnack is a licensed psychologist, neuropsychologist, researcher, and expert in test development who has helped develop many widely used neuropsychological tests. He currently offers expertise in psychometrics, data analysis, test development, and research support to both test publishers and legal counsel. He worked as a staff scientist at the National Institute of Nursing Research creating virtual reality tools to assess cognitive fatigue and shopping behavior and has developed patient reported outcome measures as an assistant research professor at the University of Delaware.
Much of his career was spent at Pearson, where he developed neuropsychological, cognitive, academic, and behavior rating scales as a senior research director and principal scientist leading the neuropsychology team. Dr. Holdnack has published extensively on topics such as the Wechsler Scales, neuropsychological tests, patient-reported outcomes, and statistical methods for test interpretation.
