David W. Barne, PhD

David W. Barnett, Professor, received his Ph.D. from Indiana State University in 1974. He teaches in the areas of psychoeducational assessment and intervention, early intervention, behavioral research, and shares responsibility for supervision of school psychology practica and internship in the School Psychology program. Dr. Barnett has conducted research and published widely in the areas of assessment and intervention, services delivery for preschool children, and professional decision making. Dr. Barnett serves as Coordinator for Field Experiences.

Dr. Barnett is a Professor in  the School Psychology Program, University of Cincinnati and a Consultant for Northern Kentucky Head Start.  He is a member of the American Psychological Association (Fellow, Division 16), Association for Behavior Analysis, and National Association of School Psychologists.  He is licensed in Ohio (general psychology) and Kentucky (school psychology).

Dr. Barnett has over 100 publications.
