Stephen J. Bagnato

Dr. Bagnato has a BS, Secondary Education, English & Psychology, Clarion State College, Clarion, PA, 1969, an MS, School Psychology, Millersville State College, Millersville, PA, 1971-1972 as well as an MS, School Psychology, Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA, 1975.  He has an EdD, Developmental School Psychology & Early Childhood Special Education, from Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA, 1977.

His research focus is: authentic, developmentally-appropriate, curriculum-based assessment and program evaluation outcome methods in early childhood intervention settings for children at developmental risk or with neurodevelopmental disabilities and neurobehavioral disorders; design and field-validation of system reform and integration models for early childhood health and education services.

Publications include: "Classroom observations of teacher-child relationships among racially symmetrical and racially asymmetrical teacher-child dyads" and "Dosage effects on developmental progress during early childhood intervention (ECI): Accessible metrics for real-life research and advocacy."
