 …who are beginning to use aimswebPlus for progress monitoring or want to strengthen their foundational understanding. 

Description:  
This 3-hour interactive session introduces the foundational components of progress monitoring within aimswebPlus. This may be an initial session for individuals only using aimswebPlus to progress monitor, or it may be third in a series, following Benchmarking Data Utilization. The session begins with introducing how to use survey level assessments to accurately determine each student’s instructional level.  Participants will then learn how to create progress monitoring schedules, including selecting appropriate measures, identifying reasonable goals, and understanding the purpose and structure of progress monitoring plans. The session will also explore how to identify which students require monitoring, how to begin tracking their progress, and how to navigate the aimswebPlus platform to support these efforts. By the end, participants will be equipped to launch progress monitoring with accuracy and intention. 

What Participants Should Know Before Attending: 
This session assumes familiarity with aimswebPlus basic navigation. This session doesn’t cover administration or scoring guidelines for all the available measures, but it does provide guidance on how and where to practice by using resources found in the help library. Management support for customer accounts, including settings and rostering, as well as the reading and interpretation of aimswebPlus benchmarking or progress monitoring reports, will not be provided. We will be using a sandbox account to practice and interact with the platform during this session; participants will not be in their active accounts unless otherwise requested.   Please ensure access to a device for full participation in hands-on activities. Participants will receive and are encouraged to print handouts prior to the session. 

Learning Objectives: 

• Prepare participants to conduct survey level assessments to accurately determine each student’s instructional level. 
• Enable participants to use benchmark and/or survey level assessment data to establish progress monitoring schedules. 
• Help participants plan a data collection process that can be implemented with fidelity and result in meaningful student progress data.

The maximum number of attendees for this session is thirty (30). Additional participants may join for an additional per-person fee. 

The Services must be scheduled for a date no earlier than five (5) weeks form the date of purchase. If Services are requested by the Customer sooner than this period, Pearson shall have the right to charge Customer an expedited delivery fee equivalent to 20% of the purchase price of Services.

The Services must be delivered within twelve (12) months of the date of purchase. If Services are scheduled by Customer beyond this twelve-month period, Pearson shall have the right to charge Customer (a) the difference between the purchase price and the then-current price of Services on the scheduled date, and (b) a scheduling fee of $100.00.   All fees due to Pearson must be paid in full before the Services are delivered (unless other arrangements are agreed upon with both parties).
