Switching context from individual to organization
There are two actions required to purchase an assessment on behalf of another qualified user at an organization: both users have to be associated with the same organization account and the purchaser has to enter checkout having already selected the organization both users belong to in the top level navigation. Additional information is located below on these actions.
If you don’t select an organization before entering checkout, only your qualification level will be used in determining your access to purchase the assessments in your cart. If your qualifications levels are insufficient for the products you’re trying to purchase, you will see an alert and will not be allowed to progress to checkout.
Action #1: Associating to an Organization Account
First, both the purchaser and the qualified user must be associated with the same organization account. This can be accomplished in several ways:
- Option 1 - Switch to an Existing Associated Organization Account:
Except for new website customers after March 28, 2019, all users were automatically associated to organizational accounts during migration. To check your organization associations, select the 🇻symbol directly to the right of ‘My Account’ in the top navigation. In the dropdown you should see your organizations. Click the name of the organization to switch context before entering checkout. If you do not see your organization, use Option 2 or 3 below.

- Option 2 - New Association with an Existing Organization Account:
You can manually associate yourself with an existing organization, which will allow you to utilize the qualifications of other users already associated with the organization (as well as sharing things like address books). You will be given this option during registration, or you can associate your account any time after through the ‘Add Organization’ option by selecting the 🇻symbol directly to the right of ‘My Account’. You will be required to enter your Organization ID.
- Option 3 - Register and Associate to a New Organization:
You will be given this option during registration or through the ‘Add Organization’ option by selecting the 🇻symbol directly to the right of ‘My Account’
Action #2 Select an Organization Account for Checkout
Sign in to the website, select the 🇻symbol directly to the right of ‘My Account’ in the top navigation, select/click the organization you’d like to checkout under (you will then see the organization name where it previously said ‘My Account’), add items to your cart, then click checkout.
You have now entered checkout as an organization. In the qualifications section of checkout this will allow you to select previous qualified users you have purchased on behalf of. A user will only appear in this list if you have already purchased on their behalf. If you are purchasing on behalf of a user for the first time (and that user is already associated to that organization) you can enter the qualified user’s email address.

Purchase Orders
Purchase Orders can now only be utilized by organizations. If you wish to pay by Purchase Order, please make sure you have switched to the correct Organization before entering checkout. If you enter checkout as an individual you will only be able to pay by credit card.
