Description:
This 3-hour interactive session guides educators through the process of interpreting and applying benchmarking data within the aimswebPlus platform. Participants will explore how to access and analyze group and individual reports, compare performance across student groups, and identify students in need of intervention. Using the Data Analysis & Inquiry model, participants will learn to structure meaningful conversations around data and make informed decisions that support instructional planning and student outcomes. The session includes hands-on practice with navigating and interpretating reports. By the end of the session, participants will be equipped to use benchmarking data to inform instruction, identify student needs, and support school improvement efforts.
What Participants Should Know Before Attending
This session assumes participants have a foundational understanding of aimswebPlus benchmarking and basic platform navigation. It does not cover account setup, rostering, or progress monitoring scheduling or reports. Participants will utilize either a sandbox environment or participants’ active account when benchmarking data is available. Please ensure access to a device for full participation in hands-on activities. Participants will receive and are encouraged to print handouts prior to the session.
