Course description: This 1.5-hour asynchronous, module-based WRAT5 training provides educators with a practical overview of test components, administration, scoring, and basic interpretation. Learning objectives:  

  • Analyze purpose for each WRAT5 subtest and the overall test structure to determine how subtest results contribute to interpretation of academic skill development.
  • Integrate Word Reading and Sentence Comprehension results to interpret the WRAT5 Reading Composite and identify patterns in reading performance.
  • Apply WRAT5 administration and scoring procedures to accurately derive raw scores and standard scores.
  • Evaluate how WRAT5 results may be integrated with other assessment data to inform screening, psychoeducational evaluation, and educational decision-making.
  • Examine WRAT5 reliability, validity evidence, and other technical characteristics to support appropriate interpretation and use across educational and clinical contexts.
