						<p>The WIAT-4 Scoring manual states, &quot;Order of letters should be used when determining whether or not a letter receives credit, including alphabetical order or spelling of words.&quot; This guidance is part of the section on using context clues to score the task, but does NOT mean that the letters must be in alphabetical order to receive credit. Letter order is a strategy that should be used to help determine which letter a student wrote, if needed.
