This 6-hour session covers the fifth edition of the Wechsler® Intelligence Scale for Children (5th ed.; WISC®–V), a cognitive assessment used with children ages 6 years 0 months through 16 years 11 months. The presenters will describe standardized administration and scoring of the subtests and basic interpretation of the results. Using sample data, presenters will show how to analyze the WISC–V profiles by considering primary, ancillary, and complementary indexes and process scores and how to decide which indexes to use to determine an examinee’s eligibility for direct specialized instruction. Price includes up to 40 people per session.

Audience: This session is targeted for new users of the WISC–V.
