Audience: This session is targeted for individuals who are new to Bayley-4 and clinicians who need an overview of this revision.

Course description: This 3-hour session provides a broad overview of administration and scoring, and basic interpretation of Bayley-4 results.

Learning objectives: After attending this session, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the interrelated elements the Bayley-4 uses to assess cognitive, language, and motor development
  • Explain the general guidelines, including basals and ceilings, for administration and scoring of the Bayley-4 cognitive, language, and motor items
  • Describe administration and scoring of the Bayley-4 Social-Emotional subtest and Adaptive Behavior subdomains
  • Discuss basic interpretation of Bayley-4 results
