Schoolnet's robust instructional planning tools combine student data, curriculum resources, and shared best practices to help teachers use data to plan whole class and differentiated instruction. The centrally managed curriculum and instructional materials bank can accommodate lesson plans, scope and sequence guides, instructional resources, units, assessments, and more.
Schoolnet's instructional content creation process allows districts to grow their content assets every day. As educators create content, they can keep their content private for personal use, or submit that content for approval to be included in a school- or district-level bank.
The Schoolnet platform takes the instructional planning and scheduling process online, eliminating stacks of papers and hours of manual scheduling. Teachers can focus on the quality of their lessons and tailoring those lessons to meet student needs. Teachers can add personal notes (or attach files) to each day within the Lesson Planner, helping them capture thoughts, ideas, or reminders about that day’s planned instruction.
Resources identified through Schoolnet’s materials bank searches and filtering display a useful 5-star rating scale. If available, the system will display both an average rating and the user’s rating for each resource, allowing educators to indicate the usefulness of resources and helping colleagues more quickly identify and share proven resources and best practices.
