				<li>Assess, document, and justify the need for further psychological evaluation.</li>
				<li>Facilitate physician-psychologist communication.</li>
				<li>Evaluate the patient&#39;s emotional readiness for surgery.</li>
				<li>Support evaluations for cases involving vocational readiness; orthopedic, occupational, and auto injuries; workers&#39; compensation; and long-term disabilities.</li>
				<li>Easily and inexpensively measure pre- and post-treatment pain status to evaluate treatment effectiveness and monitor clinical outcomes.</li>

			<h3>Features</h3>

			<p>A total of 497 subjects participated in cross-validating the P-3 assessment. Approximately half of the subjects were pain patients (N=243) and half were community subjects (N=254).</p>

			<ul>
				<li>Four scales: Depression (DEP), Anxiety (ANX), Somatization (SOM) and Validity Index (VAL).</li>
				<li>Includes an easy-to-understand summary of results to share with the patient.</li>
				<li>Requires only 12-15 minutes to administer, suitable as part of an initial clinical evaluation.</li>
				<li>Normed using both pain patients and subjects from the community. This cross-validating approach helps assure that results are more relevant to pain patients than more traditional assessments may be.</li>
			</ul>

			<h3>Resources</h3>

			<p>The report offers the health professional detailed analysis of the individual&#39;s responses and includes graphic profiles of how the results compare to the norm group. Progress reports enable clinicians to monitor a client&rsquo;s progress over time.</p>
