Norms

The normative data includes 1,200 parent, 1,200 teacher and 1,000 selfreport raters, and is representative of the general U.S. population in terms of ethnicity/ race, gender, and parent education level (U.S. Bureau of the Census, 2000). Separate norms are provided for males and females in one year intervals, although 17 and 18 year old norms are grouped together.

Scales

Conners 3rd Edition Parent Rating Scales

The Conners 3rd Edition Parent Rating Scales assess behaviors and concerns in children between the ages of 6–18 and is reported by parents or legal guardians. Both full-length (Conners 3–P) and short [Conners 3–P(S)] versions are available. The full-length version provides more comprehensive results, and is recommended for initial evaluations.

The short version provides evaluation of the key empirical and rational areas of hyperactivity/ impulsivity, executive functioning, learning problems, aggression, peer relations, family relations and inattention, making it an ideal measurement when time is limited or for follow-up testing. When used in conjunction with teacher ratings, differences between home and school are highlighted.

Conners 3rd Edition Teacher Rating Scales

The Conners 3rd Edition Teacher Rating Scales assess behaviors and concerns for children between 6–18 years old and is reported by teachers. Both full-length and short versions are available. The full-length (Conners 3–T) version provides more comprehensive results, and is recommended for initial evaluations if time allows.

The short version, Conners 3–T (S), makes an ideal tool when time is limited or for follow-up testing. The short version provides evaluation of the key empirical and rational areas of hyperactivity/impulsivity, executive functioning, learning problems, aggression, peer relations, family relations and inattention, making it an ideal measurement when time is limited or for follow-up testing. When used with the parent scale differences between home and school are highlighted.

Conners 3rd Edition Self-Report Rating Scales

The Conners 3rd Edition Self-Report Rating Scales measure problems and concerns in children 8–18 years old. Both full and short versions are available. The full-length version (Conners 3–SR) provides more comprehensive results, and is recommended for initial evaluations. The short version, Conners 3–SR (S), provides evaluation of the key empirical and rational areas of hyperactivity/impulsivity, executive functioning, learning problems, aggression, peer relations, family relations and inattention, making it an ideal measurement when time is limited or for follow-up testing.

Conners 3rd Edition ADHD Index

The Conners 3rd Edition offers a 10-item Conners 3 ADHD Index Conners 3AI. The brief index works well when screening a large group of children and adolescents to see if further assessment of ADHD is warranted. Additionally, this form can be used to monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans, and measure the patient’s response to intervention. This form is available for parent, teacher and self-report.

The Conners 3AI is included in the full length Conners 3 or can be purchased separately. Spanish versions are available for parent and self-report forms.

Conners 3rd Edition Global Index

The Conners 3 Global Index (Conners 3GI) is a fast and effective measure of general psychopathology. It has proven to be a fast and effective measure and is a helpful tool in monitoring treatment and intervention.

The Conners 3GI is included in the fulllength Conners 3 (for parent, teacher and self-report forms) or can be purchased separately. Spanish versions are available for parent and self-report forms.

Reports

Assessment Reports are comprehensive and include a total score and a symptom count score. These reports are user friendly, convenient and quick, and can be generated in seconds by using the software program.

Feedback Forms provide parents and teachers and easy to read and understand feedback that summarizes the assessment results. Progress Reports compare the results of two to four administrations for the same individual to measure changes over time – ideal when monitoring treatment and intervention.
