Program Evaluation Studies
The purpose of the Pearson Research Assistance Program (RAP) is to support and encourage studies that will add to the body of knowledge about the assessment instruments we publish:
their characteristics, how they can be applied, and how they can be interpreted. Qualifying studies should be publishable, meaning that they should have general interest to the research or practitioner community,
and they should have sound research design.
As a general rule, program evaluation studies do not
qualify under the revised guidelines for the RAP. Such studies usually
are not designed to provide new information about the tests or their
applications. Furthermore, measuring program outcomes is one of the
basic applications of tests. Discounts requests for program
evaluation studies are not honored.
