System Requirements for Q Local™ 2.0 Software

Important Note: Q Local 2.0 does not run on 64-bit platforms.

• Processor: Pentium^® III or higher
• Processor Speed: 600 MHz minimum, 1 GHz recommended
• RAM: 256 MB minimum, 512 MB recommended
• Operating system–
  Windows^® 2000, SP4 or higher (32-bit)
  Windows XP, SP2 or higher (32-bit)
  Windows 2003, SP1 or higher (32-bit)

• Hard Drive:
  1 GB of free hard disc space required for StandAlone and Network versions with all three components installed; 300 MB of space required for Network version with HASP server only installed
• USB Port for the report counter

If you're using XP Pro on a network, do not set the server to hibernate or power saver mode.

Minimum Display Settings

• Minimum screen resolution: 800 x 600
  (To change the screen resolution, click the Start button in the lower-left corner of your computer's display, choose Control Panel, then Display, and finally the Settings tab. Move the screen resolution marker to the 800 x 600 resolution or higher.)

Pearson Scanner

Your computer must have a serial or USB port if you want to attach a Pearson scanner. A USB-serial adapter is available from PA if your computer has a USB port.
