NEW! Pearson Clinical Assessment Professional Learning Community

We have just launched a new option for training and consultation services! At the Learning Community site, you will be able to see a listing of currently available on-line courses from Pearson Clinical Assessment. All you need to do to see a catalog of courses is register with a username and password. Once registered, you will then be able to see a list of available on-line courses, as well as other training opportunities that you may access. Please note that some courses in the catalog require approval prior to registration (due to qualification guidelines that mirror our purchase policies), and you may not see all courses until your qualifications are reviewed.

We will continue to offer the other features of the training consultation site, such as the free, pre-recorded sessions, webinars, etc. However, we look forward to expanding our partnership with you through this new addition!

• Assessment Literacy
  On-site or Internet-based, Duration: 3 Hours
  The Assessment Literacy model is a decision-making model for building an understanding of what assessment methods to use to answer specific types of questions. When we assess, we use the data to make curriculum, instructional, student-based, and system-based decisions. You will explore the assessments you use and develop an understanding of what kind of information can be gathered using the four essential components of this model. As a result of this session, you will have the tools to promote, support, and explain “data-driven decision-making” in your system or school.
  
  
• Differentiated Instruction Strategies
  On-site or Internet-based, Duration: 3 hours
  After looking at assessment results, schools want to know, “What’s next?” This course is designed for those interested in learning a compendium of differentiated instructional strategies that may be applied within a RTI framework at Tiers 1 and 2 to meet the needs of all students. The course focuses on differentiated, effective instructional techniques.

• Using Stanford 10 Results and Differentiated Strategies
  On-site Instructor-led Training, Duration: 6 hours
  This full-day event offers a model for thinking about Stanford 10 data and how it may be used in making data-driven decisions regarding students, curricula, and systems. Using Stanford 10 reports, you will learn how to read reports and analyze data to support students by differentiating instruction. Specific examples of teaching strategies that differentiate instruction are provided.
  
  
• SELP/SSLP Test Administration (Stanford English Language Proficiency Test and Stanford Spanish Language Proficiency Test)
  On-site Instructor-led Training, Duration: 3–6 hours
  Sessions covering test administration are offered based on the different levels of the assessments. Separate sessions are also available to learn how to score the speaking and writing tests, read reports, analyze data, and use that data to help English Language Learners progress toward social and academic proficiency in English
