Introduction to the Work Sampling System for Head Start (WSHS)
Learn how WSHS integrates every aspect of a teacher’s day into one streamlined and systematic approach for making classroom observations, collecting documentation and portfolio work, evaluating children’s performance and progress, planning for children’s ongoing learning, and reporting child outcomes. Session participants will have an opportunity to review criteria for high-quality early childhood assessment while learning about the WSHS system, which is fully aligned and integrated with the Head Start Child Development and Early Learning Framework. The session will also feature a live demonstration of the Work Sampling Online system which includes observation templates, WSHS Developmental Guidelines and Checklists for H3 and H4, digital portfolios, Family Reports and letters for families, as well as a variety of Outcome Report formats, classroom-level reports for ongoing planning and goal setting, and a full set of Administrative tools for reviewing and monitoring the entire assessment process. The Work Sampling Online System - An Administrator's Introduction
This 1 hour Webinar / Phone training will teach administrators how easy it is to navigate through the Aministrative interface. They will learn how to set up their license, create sites, manage user accounts and generate reports. Registration is limited to 15 participants per training.
The Work Sampling Online System - An Introduction for Teachers
This One hour Webinar / Phone training will teach the audience how to navigate through the system to accomplish tasks in a timely and user friendly manner. The simple step by step process presented in the training will ensure that teachers are ready to enter observations, complete developmental checklists; summary reports and manage their child profiles.
Work Sampling® Online Webinar
Intended for teachers using Work Sampling Online, this presentation will showcase the next Work Sampling Online platform. Participants will see different components of the new system, as well as the features and workflow they have come to rely on.
Work Sampling Online and Ounce Online for Administrators Webinar
