University Alliance Program (UAP) Terms and Conditions

  1. The UAP applies to only to accredited degree-granting academic programs and campus –based training clinics and counseling/assessment centers typically associated with pre-doctoral programs serving the university community Schools with training directors affiliated with ADPTC may be eligible for the program, as long as they meet the defined criteria.
  2. Pre-doctoral Counseling and Assessment Training Centers/Clinics must be on-campus, serve the university community, and charge less than $500 total for complete assessment services. Counseling services should be available at no more than $50 per hour.
  3. University Hospital Centers, community practicum, and post-doctoral internship settings are not eligible for the UAP. 
  4. The UAP offers a 40% discount* on test materials and scoring services published by Pearson Clinical Assessment to qualified, approved UAP Training Program members.
  5. Products that Pearson Clinical Assessment distributes but does not publish do not qualify for the UAP discount. Should you have questions about products that qualify, please contact Client Relations at 800.627.7271.
  6. The teaching professional or clinic director must meet the Pearson user qualification requirements for the tests requested under the UAP. For more information, please visit Pearson Qualification Levels. UAP members will only be able to purchase those instruments for which they qualify. (A qualifications review is part of the application process).
  7. The reproduction or translation of tests is prohibited under the UAP.
  8. For Q Local™ software, the annual license fee will be waived as long as the software is being used under the UAP. Reports/test administrations are available for qualified UAP members and activities at the 40% discount.
  9. Retroactive UAP requests are not honored. Returns, credits, or exchanges are subject to our standard policies.
  10. Shipping charges apply and will be calculated based on the discounted total (this includes standard, expedited, and other shipping charges) on orders for 40% discounted items.
  11. UAP membership remains current for 1-year. Members will be required to reapply annually.
  12. When purchasing under the UAP, only a University PO or University-issued credit card will be accepted for payment.
  13. All orders must include the “effort code” to ensure that the discount is applied. You will be notified of the “effort code” when you are accepted into the UAP via a letter or email communication.
  14. If students will be purchasing manuals for a specific class, the instructor must provide an enrollment list and course information to our UAP qualifications department.
