For Human Resource Professionals, the Raven’s Progressive Matrices identify key staff who can more easily handle the cognitive complexity of the modern workplace. Raven’s measures general mental ability and offers information about someone’s capacity for analyzing and solving problems, abstract reasoning, and the ability to learn.

• Advanced Progressive Matrices (APM)
  Non-verbal assessment to measure a candidate’s potential for success in high level positions

• Standard Progressive Matrices (SPM)
  Non-verbal assessment that measures a candidate’s potential in entry to mid-level positions. The assessment has a maximum time of 47 minutes with 30 items to complete.

• Standard Progressive Matrices Plus (SPM Plus)
  Non-verbal assessment that measures a candidate’s potential in mid-level positions. The assessment is more difficult than the SPM and is not timed and has 60 items to complete.

Raven's Progressive Matrices and Vocabulary Scales enjoy a long and famous history in the assessment of general cognitive abilities in children and adult. The Progressive Matrices usefully provide an assessment of non-verbal ability, an important feature in ethnically diverse populations.
