FLORIDA
Pearson provides test development and scoring services for the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) in reading, mathematics, science and writing for grades 3 through 10. Pearson also provides reading diagnostic assessment services for students in K through 3 who have been identified as needing a specially tailored diagnosis of their reading difficulties.

HAWAII
Pearson provides customized tests and scoring and reporting services for the Hawaii State Assessment Program. Additionally, Pearson is developing an open-ended custom assessment for the Hawaii science program and currently provides the Hawaii Alternate Assessment for students with moderate or significant cognitive disabilities who are unable to participate in the Hawaii State Assessment (HAS).

ILLINOIS
Pearson provides test development, analysis and reporting services for the Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) and the Prairie State Achievement Examination (PSAE) tests for Illinois in conjunction with the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and Illinois teachers. The ISAT test consists of math, reading and science for grades 3 through 8, with science only in grades 4 and 7. The PSAE tests science for grade 11.

MARYLAND
Pearson provides test development, administration, scoring and reporting services for the Maryland School Assessment (MSA) which includes development of end-of-year assessments for reading and mathematics in grades 3 through 8, and production of formative assessments for teachers to administer through the school year.

MICHIGAN
Pearson provides development for statewide use of the Michigan Educational Assessment Program (MEAP) K-12 assessments at the elementary, middle and high school levels in reading, writing, mathematics, science and social studies. The items are aligned to the Michigan Grade Level Content Expectations (GLCEs). Pearson also provides test development and composition of the Michigan English Language Proficiency Assessment (ELPA).

MISSISSIPPI
Pearson provides custom test development and scoring services in the subjects of mathematics, science, social science, and English for the Mississippi Department of Education’s (MDE) Subject Area Testing Program. Additionally, the Stanford English Language Proficiency Test (Stanford ELP) is administered to assess proficiency in listening, writing, reading and speaking for English language learners in grades K through 12 in all Mississippi public schools.

New York State:
Pearson provides test development and scoring services to the New York State Education Department (NYSED) for the New York State English as a Second Language Assessment Test (NYSESLAT).
New York City:
Pearson provides custom tests for reading comprehension for grades 3, 5, 6 and 7 for the New York City ELA program. Additionally, test development and scoring services are provided for the New York City Interim Assessment for English language learners. Tests are developed in both paper-and-pencil and web-based, online format.
